Board appoints Prabhu to CMRHD advisory representative

Members Jennifer Maynard, Andrew Chalupka, William Muller, and Karen Gwozdowski Gauvin voted to appoint Radhika Prabhu as the board's primary representative to the CMRHD Advisory Board, with Prabhu abstaining; the vote was 4-1 in favor. The appointment follows Grafton Select Board approval of an intermunicipal agreement with Shrewsbury and Westborough establishing the Central Massachusetts Regional Health District.
The board also received notification of 66 statewide flu-related deaths and advised residents to obtain vaccinations and seek early treatment if high-risk.
