Board of Health · Meeting of September 14, 2026
Grafton Board of Health unanimously appointed the Massachusetts Health Officers Association as tobacco enforcement agents in a 4-0 roll-call vote. Public Health Director Annette Garcia reported six disease case investigations in August, 10 routine food inspections, and an upcoming vaccine clinic on September 25 at the Grafton Council on Aging. The board discussed initiating a local kratom regulation following a Massachusetts Department of Public Health emergency order banning the products and reviewed proposed fee schedule changes, including a risk-based structure for food establishments; neither item went to a vote.
Environmental health staff also completed nine nuisance complaint investigations and one Title 5 inspection in August.
