Charter Review Committee begins systematic charter review

GRAFTON — Charter Review Committee launches systematic charter review process. Chair Dave Robbins presided as the committee heard public proposals to rename the Town Administrator to Town Manager, convert the Planning Board from elected to appointed, and establish Representative Town Meeting format. Resident Michael Rak proposed reducing committee absenteeism thresholds from 50 to 25 percent.

The committee committed to systematic, article-by-article charter review identifying subcommittee assignments at future meetings.
