GRAFTON — Commission approves annual report and announces expanded summer programming. At its January 12 meeting, the Grafton Recreation Commission unanimously approved the 2025 annual report documenting programs and expenses exceeding 2,500 dollars, with Recreation Director Adam Lapointe presenting revisions. The commission announced expansion of the Summer Days program with a new eighth week for middle school seniors in grades 6 through 8, featuring all-day field trips to Six Flags, Mystic Aquarium, and Plymouth Plantation, and will hire a new Assistant Director for Inclusion Support position.
The department's Grafton Celebrates the Holidays event drew more than 2,000 attendees and raised 1,800 dollars for the Betty Wright Scholarship Fund. North Street Park neared completion with finished pavilion and parking facilities.
