Community Preservation Committee approves Treasurer's Report, extends church deadline

GRAFTON — Community Preservation Committee approves $1.2M in available heritage and housing grants. Treasurer Kenneth Holberger reported two new grant placeholders: $10,000 for conservation of Currier & Ives prints at Grafton Fire Station No. 2 and $15,000 for a Blackstone Greenway feasibility study connecting trail segments between Worcester and Providence. The committee unanimously approved the Treasurer's Report and unanimously extended the Congregational Church's funding deadline to June 30, 2027 to accommodate project delays.
An additional potential Baptist Church application, estimated at approximately $50,000, may be forthcoming.
