Conservation Commission approves five-year railroad maintenance plan

GRAFTON — Conservation Commission approves railroad plan, issues Leland Street compliance certificate. Chair Sandra Brock and commissioners unanimously approved a five-year positive determination for the Grafton & Upton Railroad right-of-way, with conditions requiring proof of state submission. The commission also unanimously issued a Certificate of Compliance for the driveway expansion and paddock project at 61 Leland Street, following confirmation that an installed 12-inch stormwater pipe could adequately handle design flow.
Three applications—resource area restoration at 81 Millbury Street, aquatic invasive plant treatment at Fisherville Pond, and single-family house construction at 21 Meadowbrook Road—were continued to June 9.
