Conservation Commission approves Highfields bond, continues solar array review

Grafton Conservation Commission accepts bond for Highfields wetland restoration project. Chair Sandra Brock and the Commission, meeting via Zoom on March 3, unanimously approved a $13,628 bond to ensure 75 percent success of required plantings in wetland replication and hole realignment areas at Highfields, with verification due by spring season. The Commission issued Certificates of Compliance for 2 Winslow Lane Unit 302, a reissued certificate for 29 Hawthorne Street, and Certificates of Compliance for two DEP permits covering Highfields subdivision.

The Commission continued its public hearing on a proposed solar array project at 244 Worcester Street until March 17, requesting the applicant submit additional calculations on total suspended solids and total phosphorous removal percentages to support waiver requests.
