Conservation Commission reviews two environmental projects
Conservation Commission · Meeting of April 21, 2026
Grafton Conservation Commission defers decision on two projects. The Commission continued its review of a resource area restoration at 81 Millbury Street and a single-family house proposal at 21 Meadowbrook Road, with both slated to return May 5. Commission Chair Sandra Brock confirmed that the Millbury Street restoration will be funded entirely by applicant Waseem Arshad, with no public dollars used.
The Commission unanimously approved a three-year extension permit for ongoing work at 130 and 134 Worcester Street and recommended that the Select Board pass on a Chapter 61A right-of-first-refusal for 196 Brigham Hill Road, already protected by a Conservation Restriction held by the Commission.
