Council on Aging plans spring programming, McCarthy to resign

GRAFTON — The Council on Aging discussed spring programming and facility improvements at its April 9, 2026 meeting. Chair Annette McCarthy announced her resignation from the board effective June 30, 2026. Director Stephenie Abate reported on upcoming events including a Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast on April 17, a police station tour on May 28, a Lunch and Learn session on June 3, and a Maine trip on July 21.
The Friends of the Grafton Seniors reported 225 members and completion of updated by-laws allowing online and Zoom votes. The Council also discussed displaying event calendars in the Bolack Room and studying space improvements to accommodate more seniors.
