Grafton Early Voting Opens Saturday At Municipal Center Gym

GRAFTON — In-person early voting for Grafton's 2026 State Primary opens Saturday at the Municipal Center Gymnasium, giving residents a week-long window to cast ballots ahead of the primary. The town also flagged a Grafton Public Library closure and a new round of school open-house dates as students prepare for the Aug. 26 opening of classes.

TOWN HALL

The Municipal Center Gymnasium, 30 Providence Road, will serve as Grafton's in-person early voting site from Saturday, Aug. 22, through Friday, Aug. 28, according to the town website. The gym will be unavailable for its usual evening programs starting Friday, Aug. 21, so staff can set up for voting, and the adjacent back parking area is being held Saturday for youth football jamboree parking.

The Planning Board holds a meeting and public hearings Monday, Aug. 24, the first of several board and commission meetings on the town calendar in the coming week.

SCHOOLS

Grafton Middle School will hold an Open Door Day Monday, Aug. 24, from 4 to 5:35 p.m., a self-guided visit to school locations for students accompanied by an adult. North Street Elementary School is holding its own Open Doors Days Tuesday, Aug. 25, with a 1:30 p.m. session for second and third graders and a 2 p.m. session for fourth through sixth graders. South Grafton Elementary's Pre-K Open House follows Thursday, Aug. 27.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

Grafton Public Library announced it will close Thursday, Aug. 27, for a quarterly staff professional development day, interrupting its regular Monday-through-Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. hours. The Grafton Farmers Market returns to the Common on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
