Grafton License Plate Cameras Stop Capturing Images, Chief Says

GRAFTON — Grafton's network of automated license plate reading cameras remains installed around town but has stopped capturing images, Police Chief Neil Minardi said, according to a report from Grafton Patch.

SCHOOLS

Grafton Public Schools opened its annual demographic update for the 2026-27 school year, asking parents and guardians to confirm student contact information, addresses and medical records ahead of the new year. The district's back-to-school calendar also brings no school for students on Sept. 4 and for Labor Day on Sept. 7, with pre-kindergarten's first day set for Sept. 8.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Grafton Public Library will open at noon on Friday, Sept. 4, then close entirely from Saturday, Sept. 5, through Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day, according to the library's website.
