Grafton Middle School Opens Doors Ahead of Wednesday's First Bell
Grafton Middle School threw open its doors Monday afternoon for a self-guided Open Door Day, letting students and the adults accompanying them walk the building's halls and classrooms two days before the Grafton Public Schools district's Aug. 26 start of the 2026-27 year for grades K-12.

Grafton Middle School's walk-through ran from 4 to 5:35 p.m. Monday, with students required to be accompanied by an adult as they previewed their new spaces ahead of Wednesday's first day. North Street Elementary School has similar sessions planned for Tuesday, Aug. 25: second and third graders get their Open Doors Day slot from 1:30 to 2 p.m., followed by fourth through sixth graders from 2 to 2:30 p.m.
The district's Pre-K Open House is set for Thursday, Aug. 27, the day after kindergarten through 12th grade students return to class.
