Grafton Sets Sept. 1 Primary Voting Hours
GRAFTON — Polls in Grafton will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1, for the state primary election, the town announced, as in-person early voting continues at the Municipal Center gymnasium through Friday.

Town officials confirmed Election Day hours for the Sept. 1 State Primary, with in-person early voting running at the Municipal Center gymnasium, 30 Providence Road, through 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28.
The MBTA and Keolis are operating a temporary construction schedule on the Worcester Commuter Rail Line through September, the town said, tied to ongoing track work. Separately, the front entrance to the Grafton Senior Center remains closed for ramp construction, a closure expected to last through the end of August.
The Town Moderator is seeking a Grafton resident to fill a vacancy on the Charter Review Committee, which is conducting a full review of the town's Home Rule Charter and plans to recommend changes at the October 2027 town meeting.
SCHOOLS
Grafton Public Schools opened Kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year and scheduled a Pre-K Open House for Thursday, Aug. 27, ahead of pre-kindergarten's first day the following week. Kindergarten-through-12th-grade classes across the district begin Wednesday, Aug. 26.
