Historic District Commission approves Styliste Americain sign

Historic District Commission · Meeting of April 14, 2026

Grafton Historic District Commission approves storefront sign with design conditions. The Commission unanimously approved a certificate of appropriateness for Styliste Americain's new 2-by-3-foot double-sided sign at 2 Grafton Common, conditioning approval on black lettering with gold accents to match existing building signage, per owner Annette St. Pierre's application.

Members also discussed unpermitted exterior work at Uncommon Cow, including parking lot lighting and bollards installed without applications, and ongoing concerns at 2 Oak Street regarding fence posts and a damaged flag. Chair William Nicholson said he would address the unpermitted work with affected property owners.
