Capital Committee Says Turf Field Project Still On Track
Grafton's Capital Planning Committee gave an Oct. 5 update on the town's fiscal 2027 capital plan, confirming that a turf field project tracked in the plan is still on pace for a spring-to-summer timeline.
GRAFTON --
TOWN -- At its Oct. 5 meeting, the Capital Planning Committee reviewed how the fiscal 2027 capital plan is being implemented and flagged any new issues since its last check-in in June. Town officials reported that the turf field project included in the plan is proceeding on a "springtime into summer" timeline, with no new obstacles identified. The update came alongside progress reports on other capital items this fiscal year, including fire department equipment, a dump truck and loader replacement, and new sidewalk snow-clearing machines that were not part of the original plan. Officials said most FY27 capital requests, including the turf field work, are moving forward as scheduled.
