Planning Board bans data centers townwide via zoning amendment

GRAFTON — Planning Board votes to ban data centers townwide via zoning amendment. Chair Gregory Dalle-Molle and the Planning Board voted unanimously, 5 to 0, to advance the bylaw amendment, which prohibits data center development in all zoning districts. The amendment will appear on the October 19 Fall Town Meeting Warrant.
The Board also discussed recent changes to Massachusetts General Law Chapter 40A, effective July 1, and agreed to prepare conforming zoning updates for the Spring Town Meeting.
