Grafton Little League has opened registration for its 2026 fall season, while the Recreation Department prepares to unveil a new piece of adaptive beach equipment.

TOWN -- Grafton Recreation is set to receive a floating beach wheelchair, awarded through a grant from Smile Mass, Select Board members announced at their July 21 meeting. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 11 a.m. at Silver Lake Beach.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Grafton Little League has opened registration for its 2026 fall baseball season, according to the league's website. An "Early Bird Special" discount on registration ends Aug. 1, and registration closes Aug. 17.

COMMUNITY -- The Select Board is encouraging Grafton residents to turn out and cheer on Pan-Mass Challenge riders as they begin their ride to raise money for cancer research. The gathering is set for Saturday, Aug. 1, from 6:15 to 8:30 a.m. at Mill Villages Park in South Grafton; residents were told to bring lawn chairs, coffee, noisemakers and signs. Anyone interested in helping collect donations of food, beverages or noisemakers was asked to contact the Select Board's Ann Marie Foley.
