Grafton Schools Open Kindergarten Registration, Streamline Supply Lists
Grafton Public Schools opened registration for the 2026-27 kindergarten class this week and rolled out centralized supply lists for elementary and middle schoolers, as Town Hall separately launched an online portal for residents to explore municipal finances.
TOWN HALL The town has launched a Financial Transparency Center on its website, giving residents a single place to explore Grafton's finances and demographics, according to the town's official news feed. The tool adds to a run of digital resources the town has introduced for residents looking to track municipal operations.
SCHOOLS Grafton Public Schools opened kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year, directing parents and guardians to enroll through the PowerSchool Parent Portal ahead of the Aug. 26 first day of classes, according to the district's website. The district also streamlined and centralized its supply lists for elementary and middle school students, aiming to give families clearer guidance on what the district provides versus what students need to bring.
Incoming Grafton High School freshmen and other new students can attend iPad deployment sessions this summer as the district prepares its technology handoff ahead of the new year, per the district's announcements page.
COMMUNITY & ARTS The Grafton Public Library's summer reading program, themed "Plant a Seed — Read!," continues for all ages, and the library's weekly drop-in cribbage nights carry on every Friday, with the next session Aug. 7, according to the library's website.
