Grafton Schools Streamline Supply Lists For 2026-27 Year
Grafton Public Schools has centralized and streamlined its supply lists for elementary and middle school students heading into the 2026-27 school year, and the district has opened Kindergarten registration for the same year as it finalizes its back-to-school calendar.
SCHOOLS
The district said the streamlined supply lists are meant to give families a clearer picture of what Grafton Public Schools provides to all students versus what they need to bring from home, according to the district website. The change comes as the district opens Kindergarten registration for 2026-27 and prepares for two staff professional development days on Aug. 24 and 25, ahead of the first day of classes for grades K-12 on Aug. 26.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
Grafton Public Library will close Thursday, Aug. 27, for its quarterly staff professional development day. The library has also launched its participation in the Massachusetts Center for the Book's 2026 reading challenge this month, running alongside its ongoing summer reading program, "Plant a Seed, Read," and its weekly drop-in cribbage sessions on Fridays.
