Grafton Select Board fills volunteer seats on eleven boards and committees

Grafton Select Board unanimously fills more than two dozen volunteer positions across eleven municipal bodies at its June 2 annual appointment meeting. Chair Andrew Jefferson led the board through appointments to the Trails Committee, Accessibility Advisory Commission, Affordable Housing Trust, Agricultural Commission, Community Preservation Committee, Conservation Commission, Historic District Commission, Council on Aging, Cultural Council, Historical Commission, and Zoning Board of Appeals, along with reappointments of constables and election workers — every vote unanimous. The board also affirmed Cole Fontana as a probationary firefighter at Station 1 and approved a 2026 food truck license for the new Roly Cannoli LLC, a sister-owned business planning to operate at Holden Farm and other events.

In the Town Administrator's report, Adam LaPointe announced a grant secured for a floating beach wheelchair at Silver Lake, which opens June 13, calling it "an opportunity for me to learn" — a remark Jefferson echoed, saying it "feels pretty amazing that we're going to have one of those in Grafton."
