Grafton backs regional emergency planning bylaw reinstatement.

Grafton participates in regional emergency planning committee's decision on annual funding. Kathy Cederberg, Grafton's Emergency Management Director, chaired the Blackstone Valley Regional Emergency Planning Committee meeting on January 27, which included officials from Grafton, Northbridge, Milford, Mendon, and Sutton. The committee unanimously approved reinstatement of a $500 annual bylaw for each member municipality and hospital partner, effective July 1, 2026.

The committee also deferred decisions on proposed 2026 emergency exercises to its March 10 meeting.
