Veterans Advisory Committee assumes responsibility for Memorial Day Parade

Grafton Veterans Advisory Committee assumes 2026 Memorial Day Parade planning role. The Veterans Advisory Committee is taking the lead in organizing and planning the parade in coordination with the American Legion Post and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Committee Secretary Shawn McAvey will contact Grafton High School to arrange for buglers, and the VAC discussed inviting Grafton Boys and Girl Scout members to participate in the ceremony at the Common.
The committee also discussed purchasing banners and wreaths for the event.
