Zoning Board Continues 200-Unit Snow Road Apartment Review

Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of January 22, 2026

Grafton ZBA continues 200-unit Snow Road apartment review. The Zoning Board of Appeals reviewed intersection design options for a Chapter 40B project at Snow Road and Worcester Street, hearing from project engineer John Grenier and owner Steve Venincasa, with remote input from Graves Engineering's Jeff Walsh. The current 7.5 percent grade requires modification; Option B was rejected as too steep, leaving Options A and C under consideration.

Public comment raised concerns about school crowding, water quality, and snow melt into the town well. Vice Chairman William McCusker stated all board-developer communications had been transparent and disclosed. The hearing continues February 19.
