Grafton hazard mitigation plan approved, update process begins

Grafton Hazard Mitigation Plan Committee unanimously approved revisions to the current plan and directed the Planning Department to begin updating it by January 2027, ahead of the January 2028 expiration. Planning Director Christian D'Emilia led review of 16 revisions to the tracking sheet, including confirmation that Building Commissioner Tracy Sharkey will serve as Floodplain Administrator, updates on Westboro Road flood mitigation, school mobility documentation, and bikeway completion status. The committee voted unanimously to submit the updated plan to the Select Board and approved a correction referencing the Central MA Regional Health Department in Shrewsbury.
CMRPC grant funds have been identified for the update process.
