Grafton recreation advances events, reports trail nearing completion. Recreation Director Adam Lapointe reported the conservation trail project is in final stages targeting a late May or early June opening, with installation of a pavilion concrete pad remaining as the primary component. The commission approved amended April minutes and accepted bills.
The department filled a Therapeutic Recreation Camp position with a candidate starting May 18 and announced the successful inaugural Chalk Festival will become an annual recurring event. Commissioners Stephen Crowley and Kayla Cushman agreed to volunteer for the May 9 Gazebo Road Race, with Crowley also volunteering for Big Truck Day on June 20.
