Planning Board approves solar facility, extends subdivision deadline

Grafton Planning Board unanimously approves solar facility and subdivision extension. The Board voted 5-0 to approve a special permit and site plan for Wyman-Gordon Company's solar energy facility at 244 Worcester Street with a capacity exceeding 3 megawatts, including decommissioning terms as a condition in the final decision. In a separate action, the Board voted 5-0 to grant an 18-month construction deadline extension for the Abby Woods subdivision off Carroll Road.
With approximately 80 percent of Abby Woods completed, the Board conditioned the extension on updating the project's bond document.
