Select Board · Meeting of January 6, 2026
GRAFTON — Select Board defers property signing after process debate. Chair Andrew Jefferson and Mat Often opposed postponement, but the board voted 3-2, with Clerk Mark Alimo, Craig Dauphinais, and Ann Marie Foley voting to defer the 17 and 27 Upton Street documents for greater transparency. Unanimously approved: Christine Omodi-Engola as Department Assistant at Grafton Public Library and Katey McFarland as Part-Time Dispatcher at Police Department; the Central Massachusetts Regional Health Intermunicipal Agreement; and a Water District Memorandum of Understanding.
Fire Chief Eric Mathieu noted call volume rose from 48 to 59 since 2022; the fire budget has grown from $600,000 in FY19 to $1.1 million in FY26.
