Grafton School Committee approves 13 policies and establishes activity fee subcommittee. The committee unanimously adopted 13 policies on second reading and voted 5-0 to create an Exploratory Fee Subcommittee to examine transportation fees for high school activities and sports. Superintendent James Cummings presented a 12.5-position reduction plan including elimination of the French program, 50 percent cuts to Spanish instruction, and class sizes of 25 or more at grades 4, 5, and 6.

The committee expressed support for a $5.5 million Grafton Middle School roof replacement project going before town voters on May 19, with funding from free cash, stabilization, and borrowing.
