Grafton School Committee approves prior budget minutes in routine update meeting. The committee voted 5-0 to approve March 2025 budget hearing minutes at its March 24 meeting. Middle School Principal Christopher Starczewski and Assistant Principal Christine Martellio presented on middle school programs, including year two of Illustrative Mathematics and year one of the Democratic Knowledge Project civics curriculum.
Curriculum Director Jennifer Mannion reported the district is seeing early evidence of improved outcomes in reading and math, though disparities persist for students with disabilities and multilingual learners, with chronic absenteeism identified at 24.8 percent.
